1The App
ChordPrompter is a mobile application for iPad and Android tablets, providing lyrics display, chord diagrams (visual and text), transposition, auto-scrolling, song editing, and playlist management.
2License to Use the App
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use on your devices.
You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the App except as permitted by its standard functionality.
3Account Creation (If Introduced Later)
If the App requires an account in the future, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
4Purchase and Payment
ChordPrompter is sold for a one-time purchase fee.
All payments are processed exclusively through the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store, and their respective terms apply.
All sales are final unless refunds are required by law or granted under app store policies.
5User-Generated Content and Editing
- You are solely responsible for any lyrics, chord changes, or other material you enter, modify, or create ("User Content").
- All User Content is stored locally on your device. We do not access or back up your data.
- You must ensure you have the rights to use or modify any material you input.
- Edited copyrighted song content may only be used for personal, private, non-commercial use.
- The App does not grant you any rights to publicly perform, distribute, publish, or otherwise exploit copyrighted musical works.
6Intellectual Property Rights
The App, its design, code, trademarks, and original content (excluding User Content and copyrighted song data) remain the exclusive property of MNCN Labs and its licensors.
You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
7Prohibited Uses
You must not use the App:
- In violation of any applicable law
- To harm minors
- To distribute unauthorized advertising
- To impersonate others
- To interfere with the App's operation
- To attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- To introduce malware or harmful code
8Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
Children under the age of 13 may use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
We do not knowingly permit unsupervised use by children under 13.
9Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold MNCN Labs harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:
- Your misuse of the App
- Your User Content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
10Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, all rights to use the App cease immediately.
11Links to Third-Party Sites
The App may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or actions.
Use third-party services at your own risk.
12Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."
We make no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, reliability, or error-free operation.
13Limitation of Liability
MNCN Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or device issues arising from use of the App.
14Governing Law (EU-Based)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and applicable EU regulations, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the App.
15Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
Changes will be communicated.
Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
16Privacy Policy
Use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is collected and processed.
