ChordPrompter is designed to operate locally on your device.
We do not:
- Collect personal data
- Access or store your songs, edits, or playlists
- Upload your content to our servers
- Track or monitor your usage
- Store any identifiers about you
All User Content remains on your device unless you manually back it up using your device's own backup features.
2Data That May Be Collected Automatically by App Stores
When downloading, updating, or purchasing the App, Google Play or Apple App Store may collect information such as:
- Device model
- Purchase history
- Crash reports
- Region or language settings
This data is collected by the app stores, not by us, and is handled under their respective privacy policies.
3Optional Data (If Features Are Added Later)
If future versions include features such as:
- Cloud sync
- Account creation
- Online sharing
- Analytics
- Customer support messaging
then additional data may be collected only with your consent. If that happens, this Privacy Policy will be updated before any new data collection begins.
4User Content
User Content includes lyrics, chords, playlists, edits, and anything else you enter into the App.
- Stored only on your device
- Never transmitted to us
- You are responsible for backing it up
- You control and manage all deletions
We do not access or process User Content in any way.
5Legal Basis Under GDPR
Under the GDPR, our processing is limited to:
- No processing of personal data by default
If processing is added later, it will rely only on:
- Your consent
- Performance of a contract (e.g., required for sync features)
- Legitimate interests (e.g., basic analytics, if ever introduced)

We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer your data to anyone. If future online features require third-party services (cloud storage, authentication, analytics), you will be informed and this Policy will be updated.
7Children's Data
The App may be used by children.
If the user is under 13 years of age, a parent or legal guardian should supervise the use of the App.
We do not collect personal data from any users, including children, and we do not knowingly process data belonging to minors.

Because your data stays on your device, its protection depends on:

- Your backup preferences
